Daily Market updates Monday march

The S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 21,079.54, up 100 points or 0.44 per cent. It touched a high of 21,120.25 and a low of 20,989.66 in trade today.

The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.39 per cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index edged higher by 0.26 per cent.

Tata MotorsBSE 3.21 % (up 1.2 per cent),
 
TCSBSE 2.64 % (up 1.1 per cent) and
 
Bajaj AutoBSE -0.12 % (up 1.02 per cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.

Maruti Suzuki BSE -4.15 % (down 2.3 per cent),

Tata Steel BSE 0.62 % (down 0.57 per cent),

HDFC BankBSE -1.39 % (down 0.35 per cent) and M&M (down 0.30 per cent) were the major index losers.

Nifty Midcap 50 index will have three changes--financial stocks Bank of India, Canara BankBSE 1.98 % and Power Finance Corp replace Hexaware Technologies, Housing Development and Infrastructure and JSW Steel.
